get in touchTHM Partners is a leading independent advisory firm who required a new space due to their lease expiring in their current office. Finding a new home presented THM with a rare opportunity to find a new approach to office design that would be both modern and a space that they could be proud of.
The brief included making best possible use of their new space which was done by highlighting 4 segments to the office. This consisted of: a client holding area which would provide refreshments, a designated meeting zone, an open-plan staff area that was sectioned off from visitors and a staff teapoint with diverse breakout arrangements.
Segmenting the space also meant that ThirdWay’s designers could focus on maximizing each area’s potential whilst keeping in line with the client's vision. Modernising the office space was also important; an open-plan desk area that would present hot benching opportunities for employees was factored into the design, providing a more flexible approach moving forward.
Staff wellbeing was also a key consideration, to ensure that employees could enjoy time away from their desk and relax. A large space was dedicated to becoming a breakout area and an acoustic U-shaped booth was installed as well as a generous tea point station.
The timber-effect vinyl herringbone flooring gives the office a sleek and contemporary feel. The designated meeting areas also play an important role in the design as they are stylishly sectioned off with Crittal framework and glass partitions.
Close collaboration with the client was ongoing throughout the whole of the project, ensuring that they were involved at all times, through to the completion of a delightfully stylish office.
Key features: Timber vinyl herringbone flooring with Bolon insets, boardroom feature wall and lighting, Crittal framework for glass partitions, electric sliding door to staff area.
