Today, ThirdWay Interiors has been shortlisted for the Smith and Williamson Scale-Up Business of The Year for 2016 Lloyds Bank National Business Awards. ThirdWay Interiors are the design and build alternative, formed as a response to negative practices within the industry. Whether making your first office move or looking to establish a European headquarters, ThirdWay can help you achieve the very best from commercial design.

Founder of ThirdWay, Ben Gillam said: “We are thrilled to have been nominated for the Smith & Williamson Scale-Up Business of the Year Award. Since forming the company six years ago we’ve had an amazing time creating the industry’s fit-out alternative. As well as being extremely proud of our own growth over this period, we feel really privileged to have partnered with companies from all industries to help design and build the office space needed for their own scale-up stories.”

The finalists were chosen from the hundreds of businesses that entered or were nominated across 18 award categories. They will now prepare for live presentations to an expert judging panel who will decide the overall winners.

Described as “the Oscars of great British business” by David Cameron, former Prime Minister, this year’s prestigious award ceremony will take place on Tuesday 15th November, at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane, where the winners will be revealed.

Tom Broughton, Group Brand Director of the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards said: “Due to the high number of entries for this years’ awards, narrowing the entries down to 140 finalists was a difficult task. But through a thorough and comprehensive judging process, the selected finalists demonstrate exceptional quality and diversity across a range of business sectors within the UK. We are now looking forward to the next step of the process and meeting some of the finalists face-to-face.”

Established in 2009, ThirdWay are a relatively new face on the Design and Build scene. The industry is rife with companies that promise the earth and don’t deliver. Companies that promise a fixed price but are only interested in up-selling. ThirdWay was founded as a reaction against all of these bad practices.”That’s why we like to think of ourselves as the ‘third-way’ – championing dependable, reliable and client focused office design. From our office at Bleeding Heart Yard we pride ourselves on only working with the right people. For us it’s not about the size or value of a project, but in choosing the right projects that allow us to deliver the best office environment.”
