get in touchHaving been selected to refurbish the workspaces for Digital Shadows & Revolut in the Columbus Building, Canary Wharf, ThirdWay was also given the opportunity to manage the CAT-A fit-out of an empty space within the same building.
The concept was for an industrial-chic design that would emphasise the core of the building but still pertain a sophisticated look and ensure it is suitable for tenants to move in and make their own.
Well-considered design features have been introduced to help potential tenants envisage how the space could be used; a central mesh spine curves across the ceiling and is mirrored by a prominent bolon walkway. These, along with the stripped-back concrete pillars help to divide and define the space.
Plasterboard margins border the walls, refining the space but also accentuating the exposed ceiling features. Pipes and sprinklers have been painted orange to add colour to the blank canvas and the minimalistic yet dynamic colour scheme ties into the industrial aesthetics.
A glass and coloured mesh feature wall add character to the lift area and future reception space, with offset, diagonal LED lighting adding to its impact. This sleek, stylish and flexible space is now ready for a new tenant to move into and make their own.
Features: bolon walkway, metal mesh, LED lights, copper features, orange pipework.
What is Cat A+ and why is it a game-changer?
