The Future Office Awards Announce Shortlist
Would it really have been our 10th-anniversary last November if we hadn’t celebrated in true ThirdWay style? Absolutely not. Although it was probably the best bash we’ve thrown, we wanted to take things one step further by hosting something slightly more significant. And so, we welcome the Future Office Awards. A unique initiative that celebrates the impact workplace design has on the people at the heart of it and promises a £100k co-investment in the winning organisation’s office fit-out.
Investing in great office space is key for boosting productivity, team morale and employee wellbeing.
Today, we’re excited to announce the shortlist for this first-of-its-kind award ceremony. The competition attracted a diverse range of applicants from fledgling start-ups to household names. The final shortlist includes:
Shard Media Group – a financial media company based in Central London
CLIC Sargent – a Hammersmith based charity providing support to children and families of children with cancer
Quick Lane Europe – a fast-fit automotive business looking to set up their UK headquarters in Essex
Wiesner-Hager – an Austrian furniture designer-manufacturer creating showroom space in Clerkenwell
Sustainable Ventures – a social enterprise that provides workspace to a community of businesses that prioritise sustainability.
We’re delighted with our guest judge panel for this year’s awards which includes Alex Hudson - Deputy Editor of the Metro, Devinder Bhogal - Head of Workplace Strategy at Deloitte and Stephen Attenborough - Commercial Director at Virgin Galactic. Representing ThirdWay on the panel is Ben Gillam - Owner and Founder, Vicky Kingsnorth - Marketing Manager and Rob Walsh - Creative Director.
The panel judged and shortlisted the entrants based on the impact their new future office could make to employee wellbeing, staff engagement, culture, innovation and company ambitions, keeping the people that will benefit most from the new office environment at the heart of the initiative.
The winner of this future-defining award will receive £100K towards their office fit-out, designed by ThirdWay, of course.
“Modern business leaders realise the importance of creating an office environment that puts its people and values first. Many people spend more waking hours at work than they do at home so it’s important that the office works for them, making life easier and more fulfilling wherever possible.”- Ben Gillam, Owner.
The winner will be announced on 5th March 2020. Follow #futureofficeawards on any of our social media channels to stay updated.
